The problems to solve consisted of building a mobile, sleek rig on stage where none of the technology got exposed, while achieving near instant audio-reactivity both in data transmission and visual generation. I wrote a multitude of visual scenes out of which we picked the ones most in sync with the music and the compositions.
Alfonso’s laptop ran Ableton, with custom coded MaxForLive patches sending information over to the visual computer generating visuals in Touchdesigner, and piping them into the projection system where the mapping was perfected.
