Bai Water X Sydney Sweeney
Role: Creative Technologist / Spatial Audio / Immersive Design
Sydney Sweeney partnered with Bai to host the “It’s WonderWater Raspberry Lemon Lime Grove Pop-Up Experience”. The event celebrated the launch of Bai’s new Raspberry Lemon Lime flavor, co-created by Sweeney and inspired by her childhood memories of berry picking in the Pacific Northwest.
As Lead Creative Tech, I was tasked with handling the system design for the projection system, as well as projection mapping the waterfall aand light/leak videos across the build and walls, solving crucial questions surrounding bandwidth, system design, as well as projection surfaces
In addition as Lead Sound Artist, I designed an immersive audio system for the 16 speaker setup and composed an immersive audio piece for full immersion, sourcing, editing and created soundscapes consisting of waterfalls, birds, people, rivers, chimes, and a range of other related sounds to create the aural tapestry reflecting scene from the pacific north west. Using creative FX, Max for live, LFO’s, envelopes and surround panners, I designed the movement for the soundscapes to reflect the random (and less random) nature of these sounds, allowing for a natural experience in the space.
